Rabbi Morey Schwartz, EdD

Rabbi Dr. Morey Schwartz is the International Director of the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning, a project of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He is a graduate of Yeshiva University, with a Master’s from the Bernard Revel Graduate School, ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, and a doctorate from the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education. He served as a congregational rabbi in Kansas City from 1991-2000. Morey is the author of the book entitled Where’s My Miracle: Exploring Jewish Traditions for Dealing with Tragedy. He moved to Israel from the United States in June 2000. He is also a practicing mohel and lives in Hashmonaim.
